Get rid of unwanted earwax

Wax build up is a common cause of hearing loss and can be an uncomfortable experience for clients. Itchiness, dizziness and sometimes pain can be attributed to excessive wax in the ear canal. Hear Again offers a wax removal service

  • Irrigation Procedure: Water is syringed into the ear canal, forcing pre-softened wax out of the canal. When properly executed this is a safe and gentle procedure. It is not suitable for treating infections or eczema build up in the ear canal.
  • Microsuction Procedure: the safest and most effective procedure for wax removal. The wax is extracted using a vacuum probe while the ear canal is being viewed under a microscope. This procedure is suitable for earwax, infectious material and eczema build up. In most instances the wax does not require pre-softening with drops.
